sleepover

Friday Night we got two cute girls added to our family to have a sleepover! My cute nieces Lily and Holly stayed the night and played all day Saturday. We were able to do so many things. Melia helped me plan some fun crafts to do like making these "slap-it" bracelets. We were able to go swimming with help from aunt Natalie(no pics of course because we were focused on watching all these kiddos). We played games, watched movies and mainly just played out in the back yard. The girls loved to do a "trick show" on the tramp. We had so much fun!

The Dad's in our life.

Here's to a Dad who will do anything for any of his kids. Who loves his grandkids so much and who will always help anyone.
Here's to my Dad. A Dad who is always a great example to me, a Dad who is always thinking of what will make others happy, a Dad who always has a joke handy, and a Dad who I love. Happy Fathers Day Dad.

Rainbows & unicorns

Melia while seeing a rainbow "dad you know if I slide down that rainbow, at the bottom I will find a unicorn I can ride" me oh yea where did you hear that melia "dora" me melia dora is a cartoon and there is no such thing as a unicorn there only in cartoons and fairy tales melia "no there real" me nope ive never seen ...

Pretty Baby of Mine

Melia had her dance performance tonight! She danced to a song "Pretty baby of mine," this is exactly how I still see her and she knows it too. She is my baby girl now matter how big she is getting. It's so fun to see her up on the stage looking so darling! She did so good and knew most of her dance. She had a little dot to stand on and kept looking for it throughout the dance which made it even cuter. Cooper loved watching all the dancer's too. At the rehearsal he kept thinking we were at a "puppet dancing show" and tonight he saw her walk on stage and got so excited to see his sister, after her dance he went up and told her (with out me saying anything I might add) "Mela good dancing." It's fun that he really knew what was going on. She is such a fun girl I'm glad I got to see her dance because I'm not sure if it will happen again. I guess only time will tell but as for now I think she is done with dance. Maybe we'll try something new. But it made the year worth it to see her in this cute costume.
